Welcome to YPE Pittsburgh

Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) is the first interdisciplinary networking and volunteer organization that supports young people in the global energy industry.  This is a group where bankers can connect with engineers, accountants with geologists, solar with gas, and so on.  Our mission is to provide an environment among experienced and new professionals to support the next generation of energy industry leaders.

4th Annual Veterans Event

We are partnering with our sponsors and host, Range Resources, to honor exemplary veterans who also work in the energy sector. Nominations for recognition at the event can be made until November 6th HERE.

The event is November 10th at Range Resources offices in Southpointe from 6pm to 9pm.  All proceeds will benefit the Marine Corp Scholarship Fund.  More information about the event can been viewed on the event registration page HERE.

Message from the President

The board of YPE Pittsburgh and its current members invite you to join us at our upcoming Veterans Appreciation Event on November 10th.  YPE Pittsburgh created this event four years ago to bring the recognition deserved to the connection our industry has to our country's armed service.  We show our appreciation to the veterans who also work in the industry as examples of this connection.  The nominees thus represent all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve by keeping our country's lights on, factories working, and homes heated.

YPE Pittsburgh also chooses our host company industry partner carefully for the event.  YPE receives no financial support for this honor from the selected company.  Previous partners have been Fortis Energy who has an award winning veterans program called Fortis 4 Vets and Fragrasso Financial who supports Pets for Vets.  This year we partnered with Range Resources because of their commitment to helping veterans in the industry and local community.  These articles highlight some of their involvement:
