Bill Lucas is Executive Vice President for Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, PA. Bill is an experienced fundraising professional and has raised millions of dollars in support for his organizations.
Bill has held Director of Development positions with the Airlift Research Foundation, Volunteers of America Wyoming & Montana as well as the Sam Adams Alliance (formerly Americans for Limited Government).
Before joining the Sam Adams Alliance, Bill spent nearly six years with Junior Achievement of Southwest Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as an “up and comer” and accepted into Junior Achievement’s Talent Development Program. Bill quickly moved into a management position at Junior Achievement and ultimately became the organization’s Director of Development.
Bill’s career in charitable work was jumpstarted by his early involvement as an intern with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lawrence County. While in Pittsburgh, Bill also volunteered for his alma mater, Westminster College, as a member of the Alumni Council, the Westminster Fund, and the Pittsburgh Regional Alumni Committee. He is also the former President and former Vice President of Fundraising for Alpha Sigma Phi’s Alpha Nu Chapter Alumni Corporation.
Bill holds a B.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Religion from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. In 2004, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University’s Developing Managerial Effectiveness Program.
